Reunions:

It has been the custom in the past to have MAJOR reunions every five years and MINI reunions during the four years in between.  The last MAJOR reunion, the 50th, was in 2009 and the next one will be in 2014. Typically a much bigger effort goes into the MAJOR reunions often with a band, a mixer, and several other activities usually extending over an August weekend. The MINI, on the other hand, is a Saturday affair with a picnic in the afternoon and dinner in the evening - usually the second Saturday of September. So mark your calendars ahead so that you can be in Rockford for at least some of the events. They are a great way to maintain lasting and meaningful friendships and to relive many happy memories.

		THE MIDWAY VILLAGE MUSEUM is a great site to help keep up with the history of Rockford and refresh old memories.  It is dedicated to the collecting, preserving, and interpreting of Rockford area history. There are also continuing events such as Festivals, Workshops, and Mystery Dinners.
		THE ROCKFORD AREA CONVENTION and VISTORS BUREAU site is loaded with tourism information.  There are Hotel and Restaurant guides, Maps, and Brochures of places to see and things to do to experience Rockford.
		THE ROCKFORD SHAREFEST organization is a donor-driven volunteer organization sponsoring various projects for the common good. Most notably is the SCHOOLS PROJECT which is restoring and remodeling Rockford schools including our high school which is now called West Middle School.
		RockfordReminisce.com is a Website that features Rockford nostalgia and history including vintage postcards, pictures, and advertising from the past. Is was launched in 2012 by researcher Doug Cohen who has compiled stories of architectural treasures of the city for all to enjoy.
